Viewmont's Productions Theatre presents: "The Pirate Queen"

An ASL interpreter will be at the Saturday Matinee (2 pm)! Those wanting to easily see the ASL interpreter should purchase seats in the larger riser section.

From the legendary team behind Les Misérables and Miss Saigon comes this epic musical adventure!

Based on the real-life story of history’s Grace O’Malley – an Irish Chieftain and notorious pirate, The Pirate Queen is an adventure following the inspiring woman who led an extraordinary life as a rogue, chief, and heroine in 16th-century Ireland. To protect her people and save her one true love, O'Malley must confront the one woman more powerful than her — her fierce rival, Queen Elizabeth.

Grace O'Malley and Queen Elizabeth were the most powerful women in the British Isles. Both were leaders of men; both despised AND revered for what they accomplished. Although their political interests were opposed, it is said that when they met, they formed a strong personal rapport bordering on friendship.

Come experience this show in the Black Box Theatre May 2-6!

Please note: fog and strobe lights are used in the production.
